My husband's healthy become worst and worst because of lack of exercise and sleep. What shall I do?

Question: My husband's health become worst and worst because of lack of exercise and sleep. His previous boss passed away in late 30s or early 40s leaving behind young kids and a young wife. How can I help to let him pay attention to exercise & sleep? He keep working in front of computer after work till mid-night everyday. His health has a lot of warning sign but he still unable to get himself to do regular exercise or sleep early. What shall I do? The computer steal away my husband's health!

Is it better to sleep 8 hours and get no exercise or sleep less and get exercise?

Question: 8 hours a day, every day, no exercise 6 hours on three days a week to get up and go swimming for 30 minutes which one is better? I'm trying to figure out if feeling sleep deprived is worth the exercise.

Answer: I think the second option is better, 6 hours of sleep 3 times a week is not that bad. If Im not mistake, a person's fine if he/she gets at least 4 hours of sleep. But it would be great if you can sleep 8 hours and then exercise. Couldnt you alot hours of exercise during the week-ends?




is it bad to do exercise before sleep and eating fruit after exercise and before sleep?

Question: i m a bit chubby. i try to maintain a diet and try to do exercises. but as i have to work all day so its really tough to maintain this routine. usually i exercise before sleep and i eat fruits after that. so it that a problem??? is it bad to do exercise before sleep?? and i need to loose weight really fast. can anyone help me wid it? btw i m 5.6" and my weight is 146 pounds.

Answer: Your routine is fine, but wait 2 hrs after eating and before sleeping to allow for digestion. Eating fruits and raw vegetables is an excellent way for losing weight because fibers are filling and take time to digest, keeping you from hunger. Stay away from rice and pasta and sugar. Drink plenty of water. Don't drink any juice, unless its freshly squeezed in front of you. Chew gum.




Which is better? Sleep 7 hours and no extra exercise or Sleep 5 hours and jog 3miles?

Question: Which is better? Sleep 7 hours and no extra exercise or Sleep 5 hours and jog 3miles? Will the healthy benefits compensate for lost sleep? I already jog 2x a week in the evenings but if I got up early I could add 3 more days exercise?

Answer: Good hypothetical. I'd say the sleep is more valuable since you already 2 twice a week.
